General
Resource Mobilization is one of the most difficult challenges faced by any team working for any cause. The demands are so heavy that the finances/resources can seldom match as far as finances are concerned. Therefore have to work round the clock to generate the resources to make our projects and programs meaningful and rewarding. In this direction SOS CARE tries hard to carry out a number of activities as under :-
School Educational Programs
Short Educational/Awareness lectures cum presentations are delivered in the schools. It makes a very deep impact on their hearts to feel involved with our cause. In turn, children spread the message to their parents and friends. The effect is visible as we receive gratitude from some of the parents. Such programs are just a Phone Call away and are conducted with speed and utmost priority to spread awareness whenever we receive such requests from educational institutions, corporate, PSU's, and private enterprisers like Resident Welfare Associations.
Against this backdrop, SOS Care reaches out to all educational institutions like schools and colleges to spread this message through its deliberate Educational Programs to educate the children in their tender ages.
Developing Advocacy
This embraces a multipronged imaginative approach through various means of communication, viz., Direct Mail Appeals, Annual Reports, Newsletters, Annual Souvenirs, seeking volunteers, support from donors and also organizing other activities through Events, Media like Radio, TV and Press. Collaboration with other NGOs and a host of other organized activities are undertaken to achieve public visibility.
Designing, Developing and Circulating Educational Material
This is collected and consolidated to make it user friendly from the Printed Media, Hospitals, Libraries and Internet, participation in national and international level seminars, conferences and workshops and finally printed and disseminated to the masses.
Physical Interaction with PSUs, Industrial Establishments, Private Entrepreneurs, Educational Establishments, Banks, MNCs and Corporates. After the initial contact with them, most of them are willing to join SOS Care in their Corporate Social Responsibility with zeal and enthusiasm. We welcome support from Corporate.
Access to Community
Village Gatherings, Slums, Labor Camps, Residents Welfare Associations (RWAs), Co-operative Societies and Health Camps become important areas to spread our message of women empowerment, promotion of rural artisans and MSMs and benefit masses and seek their support in Resource Mobilization.
